Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01. Kathmandu – Paro.

Kathmandu airport to paro airport is the standard flight plan to enter Bhutan but now you may enter to Bhutan from Bangkok and New Delhi too. Fly to Paro airport than transfer to hotel.
Day 02. Paro city tour.

In the paro city tour included the ruined fortress of Drygyel dzong, taktsang monastery, Ta-Dzong, National museum of Paro, and other historical and cultural sites of Paro.
Day 03. Paro – Thimpu.

In the morning drive from Paro to Thimpu. Thimpu is the capital of the kingdom of Bhutan. visit the important sites of Thimpu. Thimpu has the most of the administrative offices of the government of the kingdom of Bhutan, some memorial constructed by last king, the market place, monasteries, nunneries, art school and handicraft center of Thimpu.
Day 04. Thimpu – Punakha.

In the morning visit the National library, royal goldsmith workshop and art school of Thimpu. than drive to Punakha and lobesa via Dochula pass of 3100 mtrs from sea level which offers wonderful view of the Bhutan himlaya.
Day 05. Punakha – Gangtey Gompa – Punakha.

Gangtey gompa is a day excursion which lies in an altitude of 2800 meter.The only Nyingmapa monastery in the western Bhutan is found here. The beautiful valley is also the home to rare flora and fauna of Bhutan.
Day 06. Punakha – Thimpu – Paro.

In the morning visit Punakha Dzong which serves as an old capital of Bhutan, the remarkable fortress was rebuilt after teh glacial floods in the past. Than drive to Thimpu for lunch and some rest, drive continues to Paro.
Day 07. Paro to departure.

Departure transfer to paro airport to fly to your next destination.
